Port Alfred is a small seaside town situated at the mouth of the Kowie River, halfway between the cities of Port Elizabeth and East London. Established in the early 1820's by British Settlers, the town now has just under 2600 residents and is a popular holiday destination.

Port Alfred boasts an array of exciting activities such as horseback rides on the beach, and canoeing up the Kowie River. Also feel free to treat yourself to a massage at the River Spa, or a leisurely day of golf at the Royal Port Alfred Golf Course.

"There's no thirst like Bathurst"

When in Bathurst, it is imperative to grab a bite to eat or a drink at South Africa's oldest extant pub, The Pig & Whistle.

The quaint agricultural village of Bathurst, although small, hosts an array of artists, wonderful venues for fine dining, a weekly Farmers' Market (come rain or shine) as well as a spritely  night-life, with live music and a 'local-is-lekker'  atmosphere that you'll never forget.

Visit the biggest pineapple in the world and get a taste of this small town's vast agricultural history, or meander around the town and grab a bite to eat at one of Bathurst's finest restaurants.

Grahamstown was founded in 1812 as a military outpost and is now host to Rhodes University, the Eastern Cape Division of the High Court, and 6 South African Infantry Battalion. The city is also home to more than forty religious buildings, which is how it got its nickname of the "City of Saints".

In Grahamstown, one can visit the 1820 Settler's Monument, grab a coffee at a former prison at the Provost Café, tour the Cathedral of St. Michael & St. George, or go golfing at The Belmont Golf Club.

It is also highly suggested to grab a meal at the infamous Rat & Parrot, the local watering hole for Rhodes students and Grahamstownians alike.
