Three Valleys wants to spread our passion for wildlife and farming. We believe that a single action can make a difference in nature, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. We advocate for the sustainable use of natural resources. Our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good, looking after our wildlife with care and compassion.
Ethical Harvesting of surplus animal populations takes place at non-regular intervals to prevent against over browsing or grazing of the veld. Harvesting of surplus animals helps maintain the ecological balance in the absence of larger carnivores. Any hunting that takes place at Three Valleys is done on foot and in the best spirit of fair chase. The meat derived from this is typically used to feed the predators in the sanctuary or for use by local families.
Due to the minimal number of active predators at Three Valleys, the owners obtained a permit to act as hunting contractors for quantity control purposes as well as food for the Sanctuary.
Hunts which are all exclusive and limited, are done in an ethical manner. Only silenced rifles are allowed at Three Valleys and carefully selected hunting outfitters or professional hunters accompany local and international guests.
